UEFA President Michel Platini believes that Italy U-21's have what it takes to beat their Spanish counterparts this evening.

The Azzurrini face La Roja in the final of the European Championships in Jerusalem on Tuesday, and the French administrator thinks that Devis Mangia's men have 'nothing to lose'.

“From what I saw in the semi-finals Spain are slight favourites,” he told reporters. “But Italy have nothing to lose.

“No one expects the Azzurri to win, but they can do it.

“They are great offensively, but I have been around football long enough to know that nothing is decided until the final whistle.”
