Lazio will “wait another two or three days” before giving up on Felipe Anderson, as his third-party owners “change their minds continually.”
The club has an agreement with both the player and Santos, but English investment firm Doyen Sports own part of his contract.
After the players’ agent called the firm “bandits,” now Lazio director of sport Igli Tare also blamed them for the hold-up.
“It’s not over yet,” Tare told LaLazioSiamoNoi after flying back from Brazil.
“They were intense days characterised by a very difficult negotiation process. We had to deal with a group that change their minds continually.
“Unfortunately, it is common in South America for third-party owners to hold part of the contract.
“We will wait another two or three days, because the player deserves that, but afterwards we’ll have to see what to do.”
