Felipe Anderson calls FIFA for Lazio

Felipe Anderson is reportedly lodging a FIFA appeal to end his contract with Doyen Sports, freeing him up for a move to Lazio.

The 20-year-old Santos midfielder has agreed terms with the Biancocelesti for several weeks, but negotiations are on the verge of collapse due to his third-party owners.

British sporting investors Doyen Sports own 50 per cent of Felipe Anderson’s economic rights and Lazio complain they have repeatedly changed their minds over the price-tag, while his agent called the company "bandits."

Amid their frustration, it’s reported by Brazilian site Lancenet that Felipe Anderson will lodge an appeal to FIFA.

The world footballing body is trying to clamp down on third-party owners, though it is common practice in South America.
