Davide Astori celebrated his debut Italy goal and hoped for a well-earned vacation before discussing his future.

“I celebrated regardless and Diamanti was the same as me, we didn’t really mind who got it as long as the goal was for Italy,” the defender told Sky Sport Italia.

“I dedicate this goal to the wonderful Azzurri squad, it’s just a pity we were unable to play the Final at the Maracanà.”

Astori was asked about his future, as he has been linked with Milan among others.

“Right now I have the Cagliari” data-scaytid=”16″>Cagliari jersey, then after the summer holidays we’ll talk it over with the club to make a decision together.”
