Tuttosport claims Juventus talks for Angelo Ogbonna are at risk after Napoli offered €15m for the Torino defender.

It is no secret that Juve have been in a series of meetings with local rivals Toro for the Italy international, but there is still no deal.

According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, the reason is a last-minute interception from Napoli worth €15m.

Today Torino President Urbano Cairo welcomed Juve directors Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici to his offices for talks worth €11m.

Juventus are unhappy at the sudden rise in price-tag and do not want to take part in a bidding war.

The Bianconeri hope to rely on Ogbonna’s preference for them rather than a move to Napoli, as he has already agreed personal terms for a four-year contract.

It’s not the only Juve-Napoli clash, as the Partenopei have also reportedly offered €27m for Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic.

There are also problems for Juventus, as they had hoped to give Torino their half of Under-21 international striker Ciro Immobile as part of the Ogbonna deal.

However, Genoa own the other 50 per cent of Immobile and have made it clear they do not want him joining the Granata.

Torino are trying to buy out Genoa, but negotiations have been difficult and so far without resolution.
