Fiorentina warn “conditions must be favourable” for Adem Ljajic to stay, while their emissaries visit Bayern Munich’s Mario Gomez.

Ljajic’s contract expires in June 2014 and renewal negotiations have been tricky, particularly after Milan showed their interest in the forward.

“We need to talk to the player, who has already explained to us his desire to remain in Florence,” said director of sport Daniele Pradè.

“Clearly conditions must be favourable for all concerned. There is time to discuss it and, if there are the right conditions, we’d be ready to renew his contract.”

Meanwhile, the Viola are also pursuing German international Gomez with an intriguing new approach.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Fiorentina goalkeeping trainer Giulio Nuciari was spotted in the Trentino area today, where Bayern Munich began their pre-season training.

It is possible he was there to meet with Gomez or even other Bayern players who could be included in a deal.
