Zenit step forward for Osvaldo

Zenit St Petersburg are the latest club to be linked with a possible move for Roma striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.

The Giallorossi are ready to listen to offers for the Argentine-born Italian international after a problematic 2012-13 campaign.

After previous links with Southampton, Sky Sport Italia are now claiming that Russian giants Zenit are keen.

The 27-year-old, formerly of Atalanta, Lecce, Bologna and Fiorentina, joined the capital club two years ago from Espanyol for an initial €15m.

He has scored 27 goals in 55 League games for La Magica.

Zenit are bossed by former Roma tactician Luciano Spalletti.
