Reports continue to suggest Napoli have a deal with Real Madrid for Gonzalo Higuain, but personal terms are another matter.

The Corriere dello Sport claimed this morning that Real had accepted a €35m offer for the Argentine.

According to Sky Sport Italia this evening, the proposal is closer to €37m plus a further €3m in performance-related bonuses.

However, both sources insist that agreeing personal terms with the player and his entourage is going to be very difficult.

Higuain has already been close to joining Juventus and Arsenal this summer, but moves faltered at the final hurdle.

Sky Sport Italia claim the main problem is around his image rights, as Higuain has a contract with Nike.

Whereas Real Madrid leave their players 50 per cent of the image rights, Napoli want full ownership of this lucrative area.

Napoli have €63m to invest after Paris Saint-Germain signed Edinson Cavani.

They are on very good terms with Real Madrid, having already bought Raul Albiol and Jose Callejon from the Merengues.
