Livorno officially signed Nahuel Valentini from Rosario Central, while Parma and Udinese also bought new players.

Newly-promoted Livorno announced this afternoon that they have completed a permanent transfer for 23-year-old defender Valentini from Argentine club Rosario Central.

He has dual citizenship, so holds an Italian and Argentinean passport.

Meanwhile, Parma officially snapped up defender Giuseppe Prestia on a free transfer after his contract with Palermo expired.

The player spent last season on loan with Serie B side Ascoli, but has now signed a four-year deal with the Ducali.

Udinese have signed goalkeeper Francesco Benussi, who signs a two-year contract after terminating his deal with Palermo by mutual consent.

He is brought in as a replacement for Zeljko Brkic, who will be out until November with a shoulder injury.
