Genoa confirm they are in talks for Milan strikers M’Baye Niang and Kinglsey Boateng.

At first the Rossoblu were interested in Niang, but have over the last couple of days turned their focus more towards youth team player Boateng.

“It’s true that Boateng could be an interesting objective for the squad, even if he is a little ‘greener’ than Niang,” director of sport Daniele Delli Carri told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Genoa director also spoke about their other transfer targets for this summer.

“There’s no news on Henri Saivet. Malmo have offered Jiloan Hamad to us for the last six weeks, but he is not ready to play for Genoa.

“Gonzalo Bueno is expensive, as co-ownership is valued at €3.5m. In these conditions, it is impossible to buy him.”
