Vincenzo Italiano says it is “an honour” to train with Alessandro Del Piero on his trial with Sydney FC.
The 35-year-old midfielder is out of contract after spells at Genoa, Hellas Verona, Chievo, Padova and Perugia.
He is training with Sydney FC during their pre-season camp on the Italian coast, hoping to earn a move.
“It is a great honour for me to train with Del Piero and think about playing alongside him,” explained Italiano.
“I hope in this training camp to prove my worth.”
