Rumours of a possible deal intensified this week after Preziosi again met with Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani.
“I think I can exclude a swap deal between Juraj Kucka and Niang,” the Marassi President told Sky Sport Italia.
“Milan’s failure so far to sign [CSKA Moscow’s] Keisuke Honda and Adem Ljajic [of Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”18″>Fiorentina] has complicated talks with the Rossoneri.”
Asked about other targets, Preziosi admitted that Nacional’s Gonzalo Bueno, a 20-year-old Uruguayan forward, is liked.
“Bueno is a player with great prospects and quality, we are looking to bring him here to Genoa,” he noted.
Roma and Livorno are also interested in the South American attacker.
