However, Fiorentina announced today he picked up a knock in training and damaged the same ligament again.

The Viola released a statement announcing Hegazy – whose name is sometimes written as Hegazi – needs an operation to reconstruct the ligament.

It will require around six months on the sidelines for the ‘Egyptian Alessandro Nesta.’
