Line-ups: Napoli-Atalanta

Napoli aim to continue their splendid start to the season against Atalanta, but rotate the squad with Dries Mertens.

Rafa Benitez’s side have been very impressive so far this term, keeping a 100 per cent record by beating Bologna and Chievo.

He has a full squad to choose from, but decided to rest several of his stars ahead of next week’s Champions League opener with Borussia Dortmund.

Mertens is given his first Serie A start in attack with Goran Pandev, Lorenzo Insigne and Gonzalo Higuain, while Paolo Cannavaro returns to the defence.

Napoli will also unveil their new camouflage kit, which caught the attention pre-season for its unusual print.

Atalanta are without Giampaolo Bellini, Luigi Giorgi and Riccardo Cazzola.

Former Napoli striker German ‘El Tanque’ Denis leads the attack for the Orobici with support from Giacomo Bonaventura.

Under-21 international Daniele Baselli is a surprise starter in midfield.

Atalanta will wear pink armbands to remember Eleonora Cantamessa, a doctor from Bergamo who was killed last week after trying to break up a street fight.

Napoli: Reina; Mesto, Albiol, Cannavaro, Armero; Dzemaili, Inler; Pandev, Mertens, Insigne, Higuain
