Stokes: 'Milan one of the best'

Celtic striker Anthony Stokes warns they are “playing against some of the best sides in Europe,” starting with Milan tomorrow.

This group is the first one in the history of the Champions League to include four former winners – Celtic, Milan, Barcelona and Ajax.

“It´s going to be tough, obviously, as we´re going to be playing against some of the best sides in Europe,” Stokes told Celtic View.

“It will be hard but no matter who we had been drawn with, I would have been standing here saying it was going to be a tough game. We will focus on ourselves and try to do as best as we can.

“Is it the kind of draw we wanted? Yes and no – when you´re at this stage you want to test yourself against the best in the world and we´re certainly going to be doing that over the next few weeks.”
