Juan Camilo Zuniga has signed a five-year Napoli contract extension, reportedly including a €35m buy-out clause.

However, the Colombian international pen to paper today, as announced by President Aurelio De Laurentiis on Twitter.

“I always believed in Camilo and he believed in Napoli! He deserved our recognition,” said the patron.

Zuniga is expected to earn €4m per season plus performance-related bonuses and the club is protected by a buy-out clause worth €35m.

He has also been linked with Liga giants Barcelona.
