Line-ups: Juventus-Galatasaray

Carlos Tevez has shaken off an ankle injury to start with Paul Pogba, as Juventus host Roberto Mancini’s Galatasaray.

The Champions League Group B game kicks off in Turin at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT). The Bianconeri have one point after their 1-1 draw away to Copenhagen, while the Istanbul club lost 6-1 to Real Madrid.

That result and a contract dispute prompted Galatasaray to fire Fatih Terim and Mancini signed a three-year contract on Monday, so this will be his debut on the bench.

Ex-Fiorentina, Inter and Manchester City Coach Mancini admitted it was a “happy coincidence” his first game should be on Italian soil against Juventus and his former City star Tevez.

There were fears Tevez would not be able to play tonight after he emerged from the Turin Derby with a swollen and bleeding ankle, but he has shaken off that problem to take his place in the starting XI alongside Mirko Vucinic.

Andrea Pirlo returns following a rest against Torino, so Pogba pushes Claudio Marchisio on to the bench.

Galatasaray are without Hamit Altintop and Eray Iscan, but Wesley Sneijder and Didier Drogba are fit to start.

Ex-Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo and former Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera also step out in Turin.

The Istanbul side have not won in their 10 visits to Italy, picking up just four draws. They played Juventus twice in Turin, earning a 2-2 stalemate in 1998-99 and losing 2-1 in 2003-04.
