Reports in the Russian Press this afternoon claim that Milan could make a move for goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev.

Calciomercato have published a story sourcing rumours in the Russian papers insisting that the Rossoneri may table a bid for the CSKA Moscow shot-stopper in January or next summer.

Akinfeev’s current deal in the capital expires at the end of the season, and with contract talks halting, could be available for a reduced fee in January, or nothing at all in the summer.

Milan have held lengthy talks with the Moscow side in recent months, attempting to bring Keisuke Honda from the Luzhniki Stadium to San Siro.
