Italy Under-21 boss Luigi Di Biagio has claimed that his side will not have previous encounters in their minds when they face Belgium.

The Azzurini play the Belgians in Genk later this evening, and after last month’s 3-1 loss, the Coach has insisted that his men will not be thinking about past defeats.

“I thought our performance in the first game was actually very good,” he told reporters.

“In the first especially I thought we did well. The only thing that was missing was that final step.

“It wasn’t a great result, but I have a good feeling about this match.

“Although that’ll only count for something if we win.”
