The Old Lady have made a stuttering start to their European Cup campaign this season after drawing with FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray. They will face Carlo Ancelotti’s side in Spain tonight.

“I think we need to win one of the games against Real Madrid in order to qualify from the group,” the striker told Tuttosport.

“It doesn’t matter whether that comes at the Bernabeu or at home.

“I’ve already played at the Bernabeu with Manchester City and the atmosphere will certainly be hot. But we go there with no fear – that doesn’t exist in football.

“Real are always Real,” added the summer signing from the Premiership. “They have incredible potential, they are an institution – just like Manchester United.

“Not taking into account their current form, Madrid are still a great team whom I respect.”

Juventus boss Antonio Conte is considering the use of a 4-3-1-2 system in Madrid, a shape that would see Tevez partnered by Fernando Llorente in attack.
