Simone Perrotta expects Roma to beat Chievo this evening when his two former clubs meet at the Olimpico.

“I’ll watch the game from home,” he told Adn Kronos. “It will be a tough match as there is euphoria around Roma, while Chievo are last with a Coach whose job is at risk.

“The Giallorossi will be able to win given that they’ll be pumped up by the League table and the chance to become the first side to win their first 10 League games of the season.”

The capital outfit have been a revelation given that they have a 100 per cent record so far, having conceded just one goal in the process, following the appointment of Rudi Garcia.

“Garcia’s secret is that he has been able to make every player feel important," added the 2006 World Cup player.

“He’s intelligent in the way he rotates his players and he’s able to keep a solid changing room. Then, obviously, the results have helped…”

The 36-year-old left Roma in the summer after announcing his retirement from the game.
