The Amaranto had a strong start to the season following their promotion, but went on a four-match losing streak terminated by Wednesday’s 3-3 draw with Torino.

“We have tended to start well and concede the first goal anyway, so we have to set ourselves out with tactical intelligence,” said the Coach.

“We play with courage, without thinking too much about our opponents, although we also pay the price for a lack of experience at times.

“Atalanta have a good team and are right behind the top clubs, but we can make life difficult for them. We’ll give our all to achieve it.”

Luca Siligardi returns to the squad, but Pasquale Schiattarella is suspended.

Livorno squad for Atalanta: Aldegani, Anania, Bardi; Piccini, Lambrughi, Gemiti, Emerson, Valentini, Mbaye, Coda, Rinaudo, Ceccherini, Decarli; Luci, Greco, Duncan, Benassi; Siligardi, Paulinho, Emeghara, Borja
