The Gazzetta dello Sport believe that Napoli have agreed a deal to sign Genoa's Luca Antonelli in January for €8m.

The Vesuviani have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old this midseason and are now believed to have tied up a provisional deal.

It is believed that an agreement was reached on Monday between the clubs’ Presidents Aurelio De Laurentiis and Enrico Preziosi, at the last League assembly.

The deal apparently has Napoli agreeing to take the former Milan youth to the Stadio San Paolo for a fee of €8m, to be paid across three years.

It is also understood that one or both of Alessandro Gamberini and Emanuele Calaio could see their moves from Napoli to Genoa made permanent, to reduce the Partenopei’s overall spend. However, neither player’s involvement in the deal is seen as necessary for its completion in January.
