Livorno sporting director Atillo Perotti has insisted that Paulinho and Innocent Emeghara will eventually come good.

Emeghara has struggled for goals this term since arriving from Siena – the Swiss forward has netted just once in 11 games.

But the board member has claimed that the 24-year-old will link up well with his Brazilian counterpart.

“Paulinho is a great striker, and adds enormous value to a team like ours,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“Emeghara hasn’t got in tune with the rest of his teammates yet, but I’m sure he’ll be able to express his true quality soon.

“Both players certainly don’t lack for class. They will come good.”
