The Flying Donkeys had gone eight games without a win until Eugenio Corini, who replaced Giuseppe Sannino after the 0-0 draw with Milan, inspired them to derby victory.

“The triumph against Verona has already been archived,” Sartori told TMW on Monday morning.

“But that victory has allowed us to remain in touch with the other clubs. We need to play with the same determination in the next five games as they are fundamental for our future.”

Chievo – now off the bottom and just two points away from safety – will face Livorno, Sassuolo” data-scaytid=”13″>Sassuolo, Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”14″>Sampdoria, Torino and Cagliari” data-scaytid=”15″>Cagliari next.

“I don’t know if Corini will continue with the 4-3-3,” the official added. “But it was certainly very intuitive of him.

“Corini is looking how to get the best out of the players which he has available. He did very well on Saturday, getting his substitutions right too.”
