Despite crashing out of the Coppa Italia on Tuesday, Parma boss Roberto Donadoni felt compelled to insist that Antonio Cassano would stay at the club.

The Crociati went out of the competition thanks to a Brayan Perea double at Stadio Olimpico, but the Coach has claimed that Cassano and Marco Parolo will not be leaving this month.

“Antonio will not move from Parma,” he told Rai Sport. “It is not our intention to sell him.

“Marco has done well in the first half of the season – he’s scored six goals from midfield.

“He could do more, but that’s okay. It’s normal that the big clubs are after him.”
