The Serie A strugglers travel the Stadio Olimpico this Saturday off the back of some poor form that has seen them lose four games on the trot and Perotti come in as Davide Nicola’s replacement.

“My players need to find the right determination,” the veteran has commented to reporters today.

“It will take balance, security and belief, for tomorrow, even as we know that to get a result at the Olimpico against Roma is very difficult.

“We will have to think about the simple things, help each other and taking things one step at a time.

Perotti also mused on the dramatic week at the club that saw his own presentation as Coach invaded by Ultras in protest.

“My return to the bench was forced and I have suffered a little, but I chose to return out of the club’s will and to show that we are not cheapening anything.

“We have our own line of conduct in order to maintain the club’s status in the League and to ensure continuity.”
