Attilio Perotti admits he was “disappointed” with Livorno’s performance in a 3-0 defeat to Roma.
The former technical director stepped into the role of Coach to replace Davide Nicola this week and made his debut at the Stadio Olimpico, his first Serie A match in 10 years.
“I didn’t expect such a low profile performance. It was disappointing,” Perotti told Rai Sport.
“I thought I’d see a certain reaction from the players, but these lads are really struggling now.”
Livorno are joint bottom of the Serie A table with just one point picked up in the last nine rounds.
The Amaranto were beaten 3-0 by Roma, but failed to get a single shot on goal in the entire match.
