Livorno have confirmed that they have appointed Domenico Di Carlo as Coach, replacing Attilio Perotti in the position after just a week.

Perotti was only appointed to the position himself last Monday, but apparently prompted the club’s search for a replacement yesterday.

Whilst talks were seen to have opened to reinstate Davide Nicola, reports developed that former Livorno player Di Carlo had been selected and the 49-year-old has now been confirmed as President Aldo Spinelli’s third Coach of the month.

“Livorno announces that it has entrusted technical management of the first team to Domenico Di Carlo,” read the club’s brief statement on the matter this Tuesday afternoon.

Di Carlo will be presented later today to the media.
