Giorgio Chiellini has avoided a serious injury, but Mirko Vucinic’s agent denied he failed a medical with Inter.

The Juventus” data-scaytid=”4″>Juventus defender went off at half-time in last night’s Coppa Italia quarter-final loss to Roma.

He underwent tests today that “ruled out any serious damage, instead revealing muscular fatigue towards the back of his left thigh.”

Chiellini is unavailable for this weekend’s Serie A trip to Lazio” data-scaytid=”31″>Lazio anyway, as he is suspended.

Meanwhile, Vucinic is not training with Juventus after his transfer to Inter spectacularly collapsed on Tuesday.

His agent Alessandro Lucci is looking for a new club, most likely in the Premier League, with Arsenal and Tottenham both interested.

Lucci also hit back at reports the move faltered because Vucinic’s medical at Inter showed problems.

“These rumours were entirely invented. Mirko was given the all-clear by medical staff. That is why I was at the Inter HQ to sign the contracts, so this is a clear sign the medical was not an issue.

“I am certain these rumours did not emerge from Juventus or Inter, but confirm they are without foundation. We are prepared to take legal action against those who spread these false statements.”
