Federico Peluso has reportedly stopped Juventus’ attempts to pick up Pablo Armero from Napoli, in refusing to move in the other direction.

Sky Sport Italia are running the line that Juve and the Vesuviani had been in negotiations of late to swap their respective full-backs.

With both having struggled for playing time this term at their current clubs, it was believed that an initial five-month loan swap between the two was on the table.

However, it is understood that the move has broken down as Peluso has rejected the idea of moving south to the San Paolo.

It was believed a similar scenario earlier this month, with Kevin Constant rejecting a move to Napoli to stop Milan’s similar attempts to pick up Armero.
