“Will Napoli be tired? We can only hope, but I doubt it, as they are accustomed to playing numerous games in a row,” said Malesani in his Press conference.

The Partenopei beat Roma 3-0 on Wednesday evening in the Coppa Italia semi-final, but here will be without the suspended Jorginho, Gokhan Inler and Jose Callejon.

Sassuolo already held Napoli to a surprise 1-1 draw this season at the Stadio San Paolo.

“We need to play our game with sacrifice and courage. We have made steps forward in terms of balance and quality, but have to be more clinical in the final third, as that’s the only way to really trouble a side like Napoli.

“I have many options in attack, as I could even play with a 3-4-3 with Domenico Berardi, Antonio Floro Flores and Nicola Sansone.

“Don’t forget I also have Simone Zaza and Sergio Floccari in my squad.”

Paolo Cannavaro will get the chance to face his former teammates and hometown club just two weeks after leaving, but Aleandro Rosi is suspended.
