Antonio Conte continued to rage against “guru of football” Fabio Capello for “sticking his nose in” to Juventus business.

The Coach had already bitterly criticised his “disrespectful” comments after the 3-1 win over Chievo when talking to Sky Sport Italia.

Conte carried on the series of interviews and went back on to this subject with Rai Sport.

“When a guru of football speaks, we ought to just kneel down and say ‘Yessir!’” he smirked sarcastically.

“Capello talked about a lot of things. In his view we are playing an amateur tournament. Since I’ve been here he likes to talk about Juventus a lot and stick his nose in. Perhaps our statistics and records annoy him.”

The Russia manager said this week that the Bianconeri had no competition in Serie A and criticised Conte’s decision to scrap the team’s day off after a 2-2 draw with Verona.

“Other historic Coaches of Juventus, like Marcello Lippi and Giovanni Trapattoni, are respectful and Capello is not.

“He ought to focus more on trying to get Russia past the first round at the World Cup. If I were in his position, I wouldn’t have said anything. Who is Capello to say I did something wrong?”

Conte also spoke to Mediaset Premium cameras and reiterated his criticism of Capello’s two-year spell, which saw Juventus win two titles that were then revoked in the Calciopoli scandal.

“Capello ought to mind his own business. He won two Scudetti with a tank of a squad, but nobody will remember him for anything in particular.”
