Former Milan Coach Arrigo Sacchi has added to the general positive reaction towards Milan’s performance against Atletico Madrid last night.

The 67-year-old won two European Cups while at San Siro and voiced his opinion that the Rossoneri are heading in the right direction despite their defeat.

“For the first time this season Milan played like a team, at least for 50 minutes” Sacchi told Radio24.

“Seedorf has added balance to a team that previously wasn’t balanced.

“Were they unlucky? Misfortune is a name given to the ambitions of others.

“Milan at the moment are a team with many individuals but with little sense of collective.”
