Chievo forward Alberto Paloschi is delighted that his two penalties made the difference in yesterday’s vital win over Genoa.

The 24-year-old netted from the spot twice in a 2-1 win against the Rossoblu to inch clear of the relegation places.

“Yesterday I managed to score two very important goals,” Paloschi said to ANSA.

“I am happy to have contributed to the team and I am pleased about the fact that my goals were decisive in getting the victory.”

The player is now taking part in Cesare Prandelli’s three day training camp for fringe Azzurri players.

“From when I was little I have always dreamed of training with the national team,” he commented.

“For me, wearing the national team’s shirt out on the pitch would be the pinnacle, but all I am thinking about for now is enjoying these next three days.”
