Parma’s Nicola Pozzi will now begin a long rehabilitation process after undergoing surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The forward, who suffered the injury to his left knee in the run-up to the Ducali’s win at Milan last weekend, was yesterday afternoon operated on.
On from the procedure, to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in the joint, the 27-year-old will now begin a lengthy recovery process, with his season already ended.
Pozzi signed for Parma from Sampdoria at the end of the January transfer window.
