A run of six consecutive victories is already a Serie A record for Atalanta, but a seventh is almost expected against struggling Sassuolo.
“I consider Sassuolo to be a very good side, so we must be careful and face them with the same attitude as if we were playing Inter or Juventus,” warned the Coach.
“We are in good shape, both physically and psychologically. Europe? We’ve just got to focus on ourselves now.”
The Orobici are on 46 points, just one off sixth-placed Parma and four shy of Inter in fifth.
Guglielmo Stendardo is suspended, while Riccardo Cazzola, Maxi Moralez and Davide Brivio are sidelined.
