Mario Balotelli praised Clarence Seedorf after breaking a Milan drought and admits he’s “happy” off the field too.

The striker has set a new personal best with his 14th goal of the season, nodding in for a 3-0 victory over Livorno.

“I had scored with a header in every team I ever played for, including Italy, so I had only been missing Milan. Today I broke that taboo,” SuperMario told Sport Mediaset.

“The locker room is united and the Coach is helping us to be a team unit. Anything that is said outside is of no interest to us.”

Balotelli met his daughter Pia for the first time on Thursday, visiting her in Naples for 50 minutes in an encounter overseen by the authorities.

He also seems to have settled down with girlfriend Fanny Neguesha, despite rumours of a break-up.

“I keep my private life, the joy and the pain, to myself. It is not something I want to discuss publicly. All I’ll say is that I am happy.”
