Napoli eye up Pazzini

It’s reported Milan benchwarmer Giampaolo Pazzini is a target for Rafa Benitez at Napoli next season.

The former Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Inter forward has struggled to make an impact at San Siro, often used as a late substitute.

He scored three goals in 20 appearances for the club in all competition this season, albeit playing a grand total of just 835 minutes of football.

According to Sport Mediaset, Napoli Coach Benitez is impressed with Pazzini’s characteristics and sees him as an ideal reinforcement.

‘Pazzo’ would be the understudy to Gonzalo Higuain, much-needed next term with Champions League and Coppa Italia commitments.
