Negotiations to sell Livorno to Stefano Bandecchi have completely collapsed, confirmed the potential buyer.
President Aldo Spinelli and businessman Bandecchi had announced they were in talks for a takeover even before their relegation from Serie A was confirmed.
This evening Bandecchi released a statement making clear “negotiations to buy shares in Livorno Calcio are to be considered concluded in a negative way for reasons beyond our control.
“We thank President Spinelli for his kind words and with the same respect wish him the best of luck.”
It now remains to be seen if Spinelli will continue with Livorno in Serie B or try to find another buyer.
