Samir Handanovic’s agent has insisted that his client is ‘very happy’ at Inter and wants to see out the remainder of his contract.
The Slovenian goalkeeper has been a constant presence for the Nerazzurri this term in what has been a difficult campaign for Walter Mazzarri’s men.
But despite not qualifying for the Champions League, the shot-stopper’s representative has claimed that the 29-year-old wants to stay for at least another two years.
“Samir is now very happy with his situation at Inter,” Claudia Pastorello told CalcioMercato.
“He has two more years left on his contract, and can’t imagine leaving Inter at this moment.
“Normally, what will happen is that with one year left you would sit down with the club and come to some sort of arrangement.
“Right now though, it’s too early to say what will happen.”
