Line-ups: Ghana - USA

Milan's Sulley Muntari and Juventus' Kwadwo Asamoah start for Ghana tonight in their World Cup opener against USA.

The likes of Michael Essien, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Afriyie Acquah are on the bench as the West Africans look to go one step further than their impressive 2010 showing in the tournament, when they reached the quarter-finals.

States boss Jurgen Klinsmann meanwhile has no Serie A players at his disposal, though former Roma man Michael Bradley is included in the starting 11.

Tonight’s referee is Jonas Eriksson of Sweden. Kick-off in Natal is at 23.00 BST.
