Italian businessman Francesco Becchetti has completed his takeover of English League One side Leyton Orient.

It was confirmed this evening that the outgoing chairman of the London club, Barry Hearn, has sold his 90 per cent stake in the Os to the 47-year-old.

It was confirmed this evening that the outgoing chairman of the London club, Barry Hearn, has sold his 90 per cent stake in the Os to the 47-year-old.

Becchetti becomes the third Italian owner of an English club, following in the footsteps of the Pozzo family at Watford and Massimo Cellino at Leeds United.
