Antonio Benarrivo believes that new Juventus full-back Patrice Evra may be the buy of the summer so far.
The former Parma defender has considered the transfer market so far and picked out someone in his old position as likely to have the best impact next season.
“Iturbe is a good buy, but I would not underestimate Evra going to Juventus,” Benarrivo has told iamcalcio.it this week.
“He is a full-back with great experience and can improve a squad that already has a fantastic base.
“What next from the market? The deal to be concluded with most urgency, for me, is a striker for Juventus.
“They could do with replacing Morata, who is injured.”
The former Italy interantioanl was also asked about who he sees as set for the title race next term.
“Inter, Roma, Napoli and Juventus if they play well to the end, with the latter slightly favoured.
“Milan will struggle if they do not buy a striker.”
Benarrivo also considered Italy’s failure at the World Cup this summer.
“When you wear the shirt of the national team, you have to quadruple your efforts, but instead at the World Cup we lacked the spirit!
“There are good individuals, but there was not the right determination.”
