Empoli’s Mirko Valdifiori is the only player suspended after Week 4 of Serie A, and he is joined in the stands by Maurizio Sarri.

Valdifiori’s quick-fire double booking against Milan has been confirmed by the Lega Serie A today as having earned him an automatic one-game suspension effective for this weekend.

The player will be joined by his Coach, as Sarri has also been given a one-game ban for approaching the referee at the end of the first half of Week 4’s game ‘with an intimidating attitude’.

Palermo manager Giuseppe Iachini was handed a warning and fined €3,000 for vehemently protesting against the referee on the 93rd minute of the game against Napoli, exiting the technical area.

Parma have been handed a €3,000 fine, while Roma a €2,000 one for their respective fans lighting up flares during the game at Stadio Tardini on Wednesday.
