Morata happy at Juve debut goal

Alvaro Morata celebrated his first goal in a Juventus jersey and thanked Fernando Llorente for his help.

“I am very happy with the team’s victory and also with my goal,” he told Sky Sport Italia after a 3-0 victory over Atalanta on Saturday evening.

“I get on very well with my new teammates and the Coach. It isn’t easy to arrive in a new country, a new League and settle in straight away.

“Llorente is helping me a great deal. He is an extraordinary player and a great person, as he even teaches me the movements I have to make on the field.”

Morata arrived from Real Madrid in a complex deal this summer and explained his reasoning.

“I wanted to feel freer on a psychological level and to try a new adventure. That is why I am here.”
