Stramaccioni: 'Cesena dived'

Andrea Stramaccioni accused Cesena of “diving” to earn a crucial penalty against Udinese.

The Friulani had been leading 1-0, but an Emmanuel Cascione spot-kick in stoppages sealed the 1-1 draw.

“Unfortunately the referee was conned by Rodriguez diving,” Strama told Rai Sport.

“It’s a real pity, because a penalty at the 93rd minute cost us victory.

“Cesena showed they are in great shape, but we did better in the second half and were in control.”

Udinese had been in third place going into this weekend, but have now dropped to fourth.
