Cagliari Coach Zdenek Zeman thinks Rudi Garcia is right to say that Roma can win the Scudetto - but suggests the Giallorossi are boring to watch.
The Czech Coach had two spells on the Giallorossi bench and is in Palermo to witness a square in the Sicilian capital being dedicated to his uncle Cestmir Vycpalek who coached and played for the city’s football team.
“Can Roma win the Scudetto?” considered Zeman to assembled reporters today.
“Garcia is right to believe they can, they must try to do so. They have the potential, for sure.
“But my idea of the game and his are different. Sometimes I feel they’re boring.”
Zeman also responded to criticism that Italian football is overly reliant on foreign talent.
“It’s true, but they are cheap, so we’re taking a chance on them.”
Zeman coached Roma in two spells, the most recent of which was the 2012-13 season, when he was sacked in February, with the Giallorossi eighth in Serie A after 23 matches.
