Torino striker Fabio Quagliarella has a message of support for Lorenzo Insigne after the latter’s season-ending knee injury.
Insigne was taken off injured during Napoli’s victory over Fiorentina at the weekend, and while initial reports had indicated the forward would miss only two months, a scan has today revealed a cruciate ligament injury.
Quagliarella suffered a cruciate ligament injury of his own while playing for Juventus in 2011 and has offered a message of support for the Napoli man on his official Facebook page.
“Hi Lorenzo, I know how you feel at the moment,” Quagliarella - himself a former Napoli striker - wrote.
“I’m with you, and you’ll soon be back on the pitch stronger than ever! A hug for you, my friend.”
