The agent of Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco says there’s no truth in links to Napoli, but he doesn’t rule out a move either.
Giovinco’s contract in Turin expires at the end of the season, with some suggesting that the Vesuviani could move for the player in January with Lorenzo Insigne expected to be out for the rest of the season.
The Atomic Ant has again found playing time hard to come by at Juventus this season, making just two Serie A starts and playing only seven minutes in the Champions League thus far.
That lack of playing time has led to speculation that the player would be open to a move, something which his representative does not rule out.
“Giovinco to Napoli? For now the idea is fanciful,” Andrea D’Amico has commented on Radio CRC.
“It’s a suggestion that comes from the fans and the Press.
“All that is certain is that Giovinco has a contract which expires in 2015, and his qualities are well known.
“It’s not for me to say whether or not he could replace Insigne.”
